Bundle up: Dangerous wind chills today
Feb. 8, 2011 6:45 am
If you're spending any time outside today, take note: Temperatures below zero and double-digit subzero wind chills are making for a frigid start to the day.
And despite the sunshine outside, it won't warm up a lot, with highs of only 6 to 10 degrees likely. Check out this site for information on wind chill numbers and frostbite dangers.
The cold weather sticks with us through Thursday before a significant warmup occurs for the weekend, with upper 30s likely. Some snow melt should occur this weekend as well, along with some fog.
A few school districts have delayed classes today as well. Check here for the list.
