Bridge Under Bridge organizes toy drive
CEDAR RAPIDS — A Santa waved people into the Veterans Memorial Building on Tuesday to the toy-and-blanket distribution organized by Bridge Under Bridge — a nonprofit founded after the Aug. 10, 2020, but still fills the need it sees in the community.
Bridgette Williams-Robinson, who organized the Bridge Under the Bridge, is now heading to Kentucky to help people — like she did following the derecho — with her nine family members to distribute necessities and serve hot meals after the tornadoes.
