Area prep boys' basketball players to watch for the 2015-16 season.
— Jordan Bohannon (Linn-Mar): 6-foot-1 guard has signed with Iowa. Averaged 17.8 points last season.
— Devin Green (Cascade): The 6-foot-7 senior averaged 16.3 points and 7.2 rebounds per game last season. Has signed with Division II Sioux Falls.
— Tristen Kautman (MFL/Mar-Mac): The 6-foot junior guard is leading returning scorer in the area (18.5 points as a sophomore). Made 104 of 123 free throws.
— Devontae Lane (Iowa City West): The 6-1 junior guard has an offer from Iowa State. Averaged 12.9 points last season and had a team-best 73 steals.
— Tanner Lohaus (Iowa City West): The 6-foot-6 senior son of former NBAer Brad Lohaus averaged 11 points and 4.4 rebounds last season. Will join older brother, Wyatt, beginning next season at University of Northern Iowa.
— Connor McCaffery (Iowa City West): Son of Iowa Coach Fran McCaffery averaged 13 points and 4.7 rebounds last season, leading West with 110 assists. The 6-foot-5 junior has committed to the Hawkeyes.
— Streeter McIlravy (Solon): The son of former NCAA wrestling champion Lincoln McIlravy prefers hoops, believe it or not. He averaged 16.9 points per game last season and shot 82 percent from the free-throw line.
— Wali Parks (Iowa City West): The 6-4 senior averaged 10.9 points and 4.8 boards per game. Has signed with Juco power Indian Hills.
— Cordell Pemsl (Dubuque Wahlert): The 6-7 senior post player has signed with Iowa. Averaged 17.3 points and 8.9 rebounds last season despite missing seven games because of a knee injury.
— Austin Phyfe (Waverly-Shell Rock): The 6-9 junior is son of former UNI center Steve Phyfe and will follow his father to Cedar Falls. Averaged 13.7 points and 7.9 rebounds last season as sophomore.
— Jared Printy (Linn-Mar): The 6-5 shooting guard averaged 12.2 points last season. Transfer from Cedar Rapids Washington has signed with D-I Western Michigan.
— Allis Tahahwah (Meskwaki Settlement School): The 6-1 senior guard averaged 19.3 points last season for the Warriors.
