Body of man recovered from Lake Macbride

A man was found dead Thursday afternoon in Lake Macbride after 911 callers reported someone jumped into the lake and hadn’t resurfaced, according to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
First responders were called to the scene near Solon at 3:04 p.m. Multiple agencies responded and began searching the water for the individual. At 4:19 p.m., the body of an adult male was recovered from the water, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.
