Biker suffered life-threatening injuries during morning collision in Lisbon

A male bicyclist in his 30s suffered life-threatening injuries during a collision on Saturday at 8:15 a.m. in Lisbon.
According to Lisbon Chief of Police Rick Scott, the biker was riding on the sidewalk near the intersection of East Main Street and Monroe Street in Lisbon. He was hit in the intersection by a car when the car was turning.
Scott said the driver of the car was not injured and is not in custody.
The biker was flown to the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, and his identity and current status has not been released at this time.
Scott said the collision remains under investigation.
