Big paddlefish pulled out of Cedar River
Joe Zalesky had quite a day fishing on the Cedar River near Palisades-Kepler State Park recently.
Zalesky, of Cedar Rapids, pulled a big paddlefish out of the river, just south of the breached dam at Palisades-Kepler, on May 29.
He caught the 61-inch fish on a jig tipped with a black and green twister tail.
