Bicyclist killed in Winneshiek County identified

UPDATE: A bicyclist was killed in a collision with a pickup Wednesday afternoon in Winneshiek County, authorities said.
Paul D. Estrem, 70, of Decorah, was riding his bicycle across Conover Road, about a mile west of U.S. Highway 52, around 4:20 p.m. when a westbound pickup struck him, according to the Iowa State Patrol. Estrem was using a bike path to cross the road.
The pickup driver, 27-year-old Andrew L. Hackman, of Spillville, was not hurt.
No charges have been filed against Hackman, but authorities said the case is still being investigated.
