Authorities searching for Linn County inmate who failed to return from work release
Linn County authorities are searching for Shannon Coleman, 37, after he failed to return to the Linn County Correctional Center Tuesday afternoon after being released earlier that morning for a court ordered work release.
Coleman is currently serving a year-long sentence for violating probation, as well as for domestic abuse, assault causing bodily injury, and assault on a peace officer.
Coleman was last seen wearing blue jeans, white shoes and a dark blue hooded coat.
