Army reserve specialist reunited with dog

CEDAR RAPIDS - About 200 Army Reserve soldiers based in Decorah are back home Tuesday night after spending almost a year on active duty in Afghanistan.
As those soldiers return home, one of them eagerly awaited the reunion of his best friend, a dog named Hector.

Army Specialist Kevin Urquidez, is greeted by his one-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier, Hector, Wednesday at the Eastern Iowa Airport in Cedar Rapids. Urquidez returned home after spending a year in Afghanistan. Before Urquidez was deployed, he frantically searched for someone to watch the dog that he had just gotten just a few months earlier.
