Armed robbery reported on bridge over Cedar River

Police are continue to investigate an armed robbery on the 16th Avenue bridge in Cedar Rapids over the weekend.
Officers were called to the bridge around 10:15 p.m. Saturday, where Shane Horning, 23, of Cedar Rapids, told them he had been robbed. According to the police report, Horning was walking across the bridge when another man walking across from the other side approached him.
Horning told police the man showed a silver revolver and demanded money. The suspect ran off to the east with an undisclosed amount of cash. Horning was not hurt.
The suspect was described as a white male in his mid 20s, about 5-foot-9 and 160 pounds, wearing a blue jacket. No arrests have been made.
