Apartment above Calmar bar damaged in fire
Officials are investigating a fire that broke out in an apartment above a bar in Calmar in northeast Iowa.
Fire crews responded to the fire in the apartment above Whiskey Grove in downtown Calmar about 6 p.m. on Wednesday. Several streets were blocked off for most of the night.
No injuries were reported. Most of the damage is in the apartment.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
