Air pollution warning issued for Linn County

Linn County has issued an air quality advisory.
On Monday, Linn County Public Health observed elevated levels of fine particulate matter above the daily air quality standards.
Those levels have since declined, but people unusually sensitive to air pollution should consider reducing prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors.
The department projected particulate matter concentrations will remain at moderate levels for the next 24 to 48 hours. The general population should find that air quality to be acceptable.
