Police say an Oxford woman arrested for possession of meth tried to flush 20 pseudoephedrine pills down the police station toilet.
Officers arrested Cristine M. Klein, 31, for two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of pseudoephedrine early Sunday morning.
Officers found marijuana in Klein's purse and methamphetamine wrapped in tin foil in the center console of the vehicle she was driving. Officers said they also found several items used to manufacture the drug.
Police said Klein's passenger, who was not identified, was found attempting to purchase pseudoephedrine, and possessed methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia.
The passenger told police that Klein was planning to use the pseudophedrine to make meth.
Klein has three prior drug conventions from 2004 and is currently on pre-trail release for felony meth charges.
Klein is being held in the Johnson County Jail on a $10,000 cash-only bond.
