Eastern Iowa is not getting much a break from winter with a little more snow in the forecast followed by even colder temperatures.
“By Wednesday, snow is likely, with 1-3 inches possible across the entire area by Wednesday night. Behind this system, much colder air is noted, and will be moving our way Thursday,” KCRG-TV9 Meteorologist Kaj O'Mara says.
Right now the models call for highs in the single digits for Friday and Saturday, with temperatures not expected to get above 12 degrees through next Tuesday.
