2 die in southwest Iowa when semi hits go-cart

CLARINDA, Iowa (AP) - The Iowa State Patrol says two people have died when their go-cart collided with a truck in southwest Iowa.
The crash happened Saturday afternoon northwest of Clarinda, when a go-cart with two female occupants pulled out of a residential drive and tried to turn around on a street. The go-cart was struck by a Freightliner truck. The go-cart occupants, aged 29 and 16, were killed.
The truck driver wasn't injured.
The names of those killed were being withheld until relatives could be notified.
