UPDATE: Police arrested a Cedar Rapids man after they say he robbed and threatened to kill a cab driver Monday night.
Jordan Proctor, 19, of 407 Dunreath Dr. NE, has been charged with second-degree robbery. Police said he took a cab to the 3300 block of Pioneer Avenue SE just before 10 p.m.
Century Cab driver Craig Martin, 50, of Cedar Rapids, told police Proctor took cash from him when he dropped him off. According to the police report, Proctor indicated he had a weapon, but did not display one. Martin was not hurt in the incident.
Proctor ran from the scene, but police interviewed a witness who saw him run into an apartment. They found him there and arrested him after questioning.
Proctor was taken to the Linn County Jail, where he remained Tuesday afternoon. His bond was set at $10,000 at his initial court appearance Tuesday morning.
