A Cedar Rapids teen who robbed two others and threatened them with a gun in March was charged Thursday in Linn County District Court.
Caleb Celichowski, 17, 1444 Bever Ave. SE, is charged with two counts of first-degree robbery. According to the criminal complaint, Celichowski, along with two accomplices, robbed Xavier Jones and Daron Joy while displaying and using a firearm in the 500 block of 15th Street SE on March 22.
Celichowski was identified as the robber who confronted both Jones and Joy and fired a handgun into the ground during the robbery. Property was stolen from both Jones and Joy but the complaint didn't detail the items or the other possible accomplices. According to court records, Celichowski received a deferred judgment and two years probation in January for a vehicle burglary and carrying weapons when he was arrested in the robbery case.
Prosecutors also filed a probation revocation Thursday.
