$1,500 reward offered in May 5 sexual assault near Daniels Park

A $1,500 reward is being offered in the investigation of a home invasion and sexual assault last month.
A woman in her 80s was assaulted about 5 p.m. May 5 in her home along Oakland Road NE across from Daniels Park. Linn County Crime Stoppers announced the reward for information leading to an arrest in the case Friday morning.
The offender, described as a black male, forced his way into the victim's home and stole her car after the assault. The car was found in Hiawatha five days later.
Police have released a composite sketch of the suspect.
