Guitarist Joe Perry Hospitalized After Collapsing During Performance

Perry, 65, was eventually taken to Columbia Presbyterian Hospital where he is now 'stable and resting” according to a Twitter message from the Hollywood Vampire's official account. There was speculation that Perry had suffered a cardiac arrest.
Hollywood Vampires are in the midst of a U.S. tour and were scheduled to appear tonight on CBS' 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” Given Perry's condition, that appearance has been tabled. Blink-182 has been added to tonight's 'Late Show” instead. It's likely that Hollywood Vampires' upcoming tour dates in Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin may be postponed.
