North Liberty — Orchestra Iowa, in partnership with the City of North Liberty, has announced a new outdoor concert for their 2025-26 season.
“A Night at the Movies: The Music of John Williams” will take place on Saturday, May 30 at the recently opened Hy-Vee Amphitheater at Centennial Park in North Liberty. This will be the second concert and first ticketed event held at the new outdoor stage.

“This is the next step in our continuing efforts to bring great orchestral music to all parts of the Corridor,” said Orchestra Iowa CEO Eric Marshall. “We already perform Masterworks and Chamber concerts in the area, and we’ve been partnering with the City of North Liberty to bring our Candles & Classics concerts here as well. Now we’re bringing a full symphonic Pops concert.”
The outdoor concert features the music of the iconic movie composer John Williams. Expect to hear music from some of Hollywood’s biggest films, including “Jurassic Park,” “Star Wars,” “E.T.,” “Indiana Jones” and more.
