The move of the National Czech and Slovak Museum & Library which had been set to begin Tuesday will be delayed due to recent and predicted rainfall.
The forecast for additional rain next week was a factor in the decision to delay the move of the 1,400-ton flood-damaged museum.
A new date will be announced as soon as schedules and equipment can be coordinated with a favorable forecast, officials said. Two days of notice will be given before the move, officials said.
The building is still being lifted from its foundation this afternoon in preparation for the move.
