Led by individual champions Lourdes Mason and Grady Olberding, Mount Vernon-Lisbon swept the team cross country titles at the Solon Invitational.
Class 3A fourth-ranked Mount Vernon kept the pedal to the metal and its undefeated season intact Friday night, defeating Center Point-Urbana, 42-6, in a District 4 opener. Joey Rhomberg completed 19 of 28 passes for 244 yards and four touchdowns.
