The Kernels led in the bottom of the fourth, 4-3, when play resumed. They had runners on the corners with one out but could not score.
Chris Dennis hit a solo home run in the sixth inning to pull Wisconsin into a 4-4 tie. Dennis had an RBI double against losing pitcher Tyler Skaggs (6-4) in the eighth and scored on an error.
