White Sox recall Dallas McPherson (2002) from AAA Charlotte

The White Sox placed 3B Mark Teahen on the 15-day disabled list on Tuesday. Dallas McPherson (2002) was recalled to take his place on the roster. McPherson has enjoyed a solid season at Triple-A Charlotte, hitting .305 with a .366 on-base percentage and .824 OPS. He has three homers and 17 RBI through 31 games for the Knights. He last played in the big leagues in 2008 with the Flordia Marlins before missing the 2009 season due to injury and spending the 2010 season with Sacramento (Oakland) in AAA.
