On July 21, 2009, Erick Aybar (Cedar Rapids Kernels – 2003) went 4-5 at the plate with a double, triple, three RBI and scored a pair of runs as the Angels topped the Royals 10-2.
Erick Aybar is the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim' s starting shortstop. Aybar has hit .277 with 21 HR 188 RBI and stole 66 bases during his six seasons in major league baseball.
Erick Aybar hit .308 with six HR, 10 triples, 57 RBI and stole 32 bases in 125 games for the 2003 Cedar Rapids Kernels. The team finished in 10th place at 66-72 under manager Todd Claus.
