The Kernels Foundation: Purpose and Events

The Kernels Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to ensuring that all youth in eastern Iowa have the opportunity to experience the thrills and life enhancing lessons that come from engaging in athletics and recreational activities.

Upcoming annual fundraising activities sponsored by the foundation are “Golf with the Kernels” on May 17th and the “5K Fun Run” on June 5th. Both of these events are open to the public. For more information or to register for these events call 363-3887.

New this year during all Kernels home games is the 50/50 Raffle. Funds raised through the raffle are being distributed to 6 area schools for recreational needs. Not only do our students win every night but so does one lucky Kernels fan!
