The $50,000 shot that wasn't (video)

The Indiana Ice of the United States Hockey League conducted a promotion last week where a fan wins $50,000 for taking a shot behind the red goal line and making it through a small hole in a board that's affixed to the other goal.
The fan actually made the shot, but the insurance company declined to pay him off because he was in front of the red line when he took the shot. Indiana's ownership has decided to make a donation to charity instead.
Here's video of the shot. You can clearly see the man was well in front of the red line when he took the shot.
That's a $50,000 mistake.
