Kernels Players to Watch

Daniel Tillman: The starter for Game 2 is a 2010 2nd Round Draft Pick from Live Oak, FL. He's coming off of his best outing of the year last Wednesday at Clinton. Tillman picked up his 2nd win at Clinton. He went five innings, allowing no runs on two hits.

Travis Witherspoon: The Kernels centerfielder spent some time in Angels Major League Spring Training this year. He is a 2010 12th Round Draft Pick from Sumter, SC and has all the tools. He can hit for power, has great speed, and is an excellent defender with a strong arm.

Drew Heid: The Kernels left fielder is a 9th round pick from last year. He leads off for the team and is hitting .308 in his last 10 games.

David Harris: Kernels Gazette beat writer Jeff Johnson wrote a great story on Harris' background. Harris is heating up at the plate. He has 2 home runs and 5 RBI in his last 5 games.
