RoughRiders take 6 in USHL Futures Draft

Defenseman Ian Brady of the Chicago Fury U16 team was the first of six selections by the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders in Tuesday's USHL Futures Draft. The Futures Draft consists of players with a 1994 birthdate.
The RoughRiders had the 15th and final pick of the first round, then the first pick of the second round. Center Alex Roos of the Team Illinois program was the selection there.
Also picked by Cedar Rapids was right wing Jack Rowe of Team Illinois, forward Charlie Green of Detroit (Mich.) Central Catholic High School, forward Dennis Kravchenko of Kimball Union Academy (N.H.) via California and goalie Collin Olson of Apple Valley (Minn.) High School.
The 2010 USHL Entry Draft is Wednesday.
