RoughRiders shutout at Tri-City, 1-0

Former Cedar Rapids RoughRider Nate Jensen scored the only goal of the game in the first period on the power to lift the Tri-City Storm past the RoughRiders, 1-0, Friday night in Kearney, Neb.
Cedar Rapids lost by that score for a second-straight game, following a 1-0 defeat last Sunday to Omaha. The RoughRiders outshot Tri-City by a 34-23 margin, but Steven Bolton was a rock in net for his team.
Troy Grosenick took the hard-luck loss. Cedar Rapids (15-13-2) plays Saturday night at Lincoln. Defenseman Bryce Aneloski had a whopping 11 shots on goal in the game.
The Riders went 0 for 7 on the power play.
