Roughriders lose tough one at Green Bay

The Green Bay Gamblers scored five unanswered goals in the third period to shock the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, 5-3, Saturday night the Resch Center in Green Bay, Wis.
The come-from-behind victory gives Green Bay (25-8-2, 52 points) a four-point edge on the Riders (22-6-4, 48 points) for first place in the USHL's Eastern Conference. The Gamblers have beaten Cedar Rapids in three of four games this season, two in a shootout.
Goals from Jayson Megna, Peter Maric and Sam Warning gave the RoughRiders a 3-0 edge headed to the third. But Green Bay tied it with three goals in the first 4:35 of the period.
Jean-Paul LaFontaine's rebound goal with 2:10 left gave the Gamblers their first lead. Travis Lynch scored an empty netter in the closing seconds.
Green Bay outshot Cedar Rapids by a 17-8 margin in the third and 40-28 in the game. Brady Hjelle took the loss in net.
