RoughRiders' Aneloski, Bennett receive USHL honors

Defenseman Bryce Aneloski of the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders was named Wednesday to the United States Hockey League's All-USHL first team.
A Pekin, Ill., resident, Aneloski, who is headed to the University of Nebraska-Omaha, led all USHL defenseman with 54 points, on 15 goals and a league-high 39 assists. He had six points in a win over Team USA in October.
Fellow RoughRider and defense partner Mac Bennett was named Tuesday to the USHL's All-Rookie Team. Bennett, a Rhode Island resident headed to the University of Michigan, had 24 points (nine goals, 15 assists) and was a plus-17 this season.
He was a third-round draft pick last summer of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens.
