Riders win dramatic one late

Ryan McGrath scored with 13 seconds left to give the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders a dramatic 3-2 win over Des Moines on Friday night at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena.
Doug Clifford's goal with 19 seconds to go - with the goaltender pulled for an extra attacker - tied the game for Des Moines, but McGrath struck just six seconds later to move the Riders to 26-7-5, their 57 points one behind Green Bay for first place overall and in the USHL's Eastern Conference.
Josiah Didier scored on the power play midway through the third period to put Cedar Rapids up, 2-1. Michael Parks had the Riders' other goal.
Brady Hjelle made 21 saves for the win in net. The RoughRiders are off until next weekend.
