Riders' Kovacs commits to Northeastern

Forward Justin Kovacs of the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders has committed to play college hockey beginning next fall at Northeastern University in Boston.
Kovacs, from Grosse Point Woods, Mich., has four goals and 14 assists this season for the RoughRiders. He had three goals and seven points in 24 games last season before being sent to play for Topeka of the North American Hockey League.
Riders forward
Rasmus Juell also is a Northeastern commit.
