Riders' Boehm to Bemidji State

Winger David Boehm of the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders has committed to play college hockey next season at Bemidji State, he said on Facebook Tuesday.
Boehm joined the Riders midseason after deciding to transfer from the University of Massachusetts. He has eight goals and 18 points in 14 games for Cedar Rapids.
For UMass, as a red-shirt freshman, Boehm had two goals and two assists in 12 games. He'll be a sophomore next year at Bemidji.
