Care Pro Health Services and the Cedar Rapids Kernels have joined together this season to donate hot meals for the Horizons "Meals on Wheels" program. Every time a Kernels player reaches the plate and scores, a hot meal is donated to someone in need through "Meals on Wheels" thanks to Care Pro Health Services. This past Sunday, the Kernels used their "wheels" and scored 9 times to raise the number of "plates" donated to 601!
