Cedar Rapids, IA – The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announce that RHP Mike Kenney will join the Kernels from Rancho Cucamonga. Abe Flores, Director of Player Development for the LA Angels, announced the move on Thursday.
Kenney was selected by the Angels in the 28th round of the 2008 Free Agent Draft out of Loyola Marymount University and spent 2009 at Rancho Cucamonga where he posted a 1-7 record and 5.54 ERA in 36 games (11 starts).
