Kuster’s goal gives Riders overtime win

MADISON, Wis. - Clark Kuster scored with 2:21 left in overtime to lift the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders past the Madison Capitols, 3-2, Friday night.
Kuster's goal, his fourth of the season, came with an assist from Cal Burke. It made the RoughRiders a perfect 9-0 this season in games that have gone extra time: 4-0 in overtime and 5-0 in shootouts.
Youngstown won its 15th consecutive game, 2-1 at Waterloo, to remain a point ahead of Cedar Rapids for first place in the USHL's Eastern Conference (73-72) and overall in the league. The RoughRiders host Dubuque on Saturday night at 7:05, while Youngstown plays again at Waterloo.
Ross Colton scored both of the Riders' goals in regulation, both on the power play and both in the second period. Madison tied the game with 2:45 left on a rebound goal by Miguel Fidler.
Ben Blacker had 31 saves in net to win for the fourth consecutive game. Cedar Rapids has won five in a row.
