Kernels rained out Sunday

Well, they found a way to slow down the Cedar Rapids Kernels Express.
The Kernels had their game against South Bend on Sunday at Veterans Memorial Stadium cancelled by rain. The teams do not play the rest of the Midwest League season, so it will not be made up.
Cedar Rapids has an off day Monday, then hosts the Beloit Snappers beginning Tuesday. The Kernels have won 19 consecutive games at home and have a four-game lead on Quad Cities for first place in the Midwest League's Western Division.
