Kernels place Boshers on DL

Starting pitcher Buddy Boshers has been placed on the disabled list for the Cedar Rapids Kernels with a strained left shoulder and is expected to miss the rest of the season. Boshers was 3-1 in six starts for the Kernels with a 5.97 earned run average.
The parent Los Angeles Angels have not named a replacement player for Boshers, meaning the Kernels have 24 active players, one under maximum.
