Kernels MLB Alumni Report 4/19/11

Peter Bourjos (2007) and Howard Kendrick (2004) each went 2-4 with a double in the Angels 7-1 loss to the Rangers. Jeff Mathis (2002) was 1-4 with a run scored and Alberto Callaspo (2003) went 0-4 in the loss.

Ervin Santana (2002) took the loss allowing six runs in four innings of work while striking out three batters. Rich Thompson (2003) struck out four batters while working two scoreless innings of relief.

Mike Napoli (2001-02) went 1-3 with a double and a walk in the Rangers 7-1 win over the Angels. Darren O'Day (2006) worked a scoreless eighth inning to lower his ERA to 1.69.

Casey Kotchman (2002) went 1-4 in the Rays 5-0 win over the White Sox. Sean Rodriguez (2004-05) was 0-3 in the win. Joel Peralta (2001-02) struck out two in a scoreless ninth inning to close out the game.

Alexi Casilla (2004-05) was 0-3 with a walk in the Twins 5-3 win over the Orioles.

David Herndon (2007) retired the only batter he faced to finish the ninth inning during the Phillies 6-3 loss to the Brewers in 12 innings.
