Kernels Foundation 2010 project moving forward
The Kernels Foundation is running a season long 50/50 raffle during Kernels home games to raise money for the Cedar Rapids School Foundation. The raffle has raised $4,007 for Cedar Rapids schools so far as part of a fundraising effort to raise $35,000 to fund local school projects. In addition to the raffle, the Kernels in the process of raising funds through grants and private donations. Proceeds from the recent Kernels Golf Outing and 5K Run will also go to meet the desired amount.
