Kernels fall in 11, 6-5

APPLETON, Wis. - After taking a 5-4 lead in the top of the 11th inning, the Cedar Rapids Kernels couldn't finish the deal.
Hunter Morris's two-out, two run double rallied the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers to a 6-5 win last night before 5,457 fans at Fox Cities Stadium. The Kernels took the lead in the top of the inning when Terrell Alliman scored on a wild pitch.
Juan Segura had three hits for Cedar Rapids. (70-45 overall, 27-20 second half). David Carpenter (1-2) took the loss in relief.
