EASTLAKE, Ohio - The offensive struggles continued for the Cedar Rapids Kernels Monday night in their 2-1 loss to the Lake County Captains.
The Kernels managed six hits, but were 0-for-7 with runners in scoring position.
Heath Nichols (6-7) gave up two runs on five hits over seven innings for Cedar Rapids (13-17 second half).
