Kernels double-header cancelled

The Cedar Rapids Kernels' double-header Thursday night at Memorial Stadium against the Clinton LumberKings has been cancelled by rain.
Since the teams do not play again the rest of the Midwest League season, the games will not be made up. The Kernels begin a four-game home series against the Peoria Chiefs tonight at 6:35.
Peoria, a
Chicago Cubs affiliate, leads the Western Division.
