Kernels DL De Los Santos, receive Brannon

The Cedar Rapids Kernels announced Tuesday that catcher Anel De Los Santos has been placed on the disabled list with a hand injury suffered in a home-plate collision during a game over the weekend.
He has been replaced on the active roster by catcher Nolan Brannon, who had been playing at Rookie-level Orem. Brannon spent a week in July on the Cedar Rapids roster but never played.
De Los Santos was hitting .212 in 76 games for the Kernels. Beau Brooks is likely to get the majority of the time behind the plate in his absence.
