The top six draft picks last year by the parent Angels are on this team: That's first-rounders Randal Grichuk and Mike Trout (outfielders), compensatory first-rounders Garrett Richards, Tyler Skaggs and Tyler Kehrer (pitchers) and second-rounder Patrick Corbin (pitcher).
Combined, their signing bonuses were about $5.5 million. Wow!!
Pitcher Jon Bachanov was a first-round compensation pick in 2007 and got a signing bonus of $553,500. So you'll want to look at the player's parking lot this season because you're bound to see some really nice vehicles.
