HOCKEY: Waterloo Black Hawks Players of the Week

Here are the Black Hawks Players of the Week, as selected each Monday by the coaches and staff and posted on waterlooblackhawks.com.

Mulligan's Offensive Player of the Week – Vince Hinostroza

The Hawks were unable to notch a goal in their first game of the season, but Hinostroza was involved in some of Waterloo's best chances, putting three shots on net.

Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week – C.J. Motte

Motte earned Denver Construction Defensive Player of the Week recognition for keeping the Black Hawks in the game with some terrific saves, especially in the third period.  He stopped 27 shots on the evening.

UAW Local 838 Hardest Worker – Tyson Fulton

Fulton was recognized by the Black Hawks coaches for his hustle up and down the ice and his effort during battles in the corners and behind the net.
