Former Rider Wingels signs with NHL's Sharks

Miami of Ohio winger Tommy Wingels has signed an entry level contract with the NHL's San Jose Sharks.
Wingels played for the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders in the 2006-07 season, picking up 10 goals and 18 assists in 47 games. He had 47 points this past season, serving as captain of the RedHawks.
Wingels was the Sharks' sixth-round draft pick in 2008.
