Saturday night, July 10th was Armed Forces Night 2010 at Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Military personnel were honored and celebrated through numerous activities before and during the game.
Military IDs got soldiers, veterans, and their families a discount at the gate. The Marines held a swearing in ceremony for their current recruiting class.
In addition, the Marine Corps League performed a 21-gun salute, and the colors were represented by the Fairfax Color Guard. The Kernels wore camouflage jerseys that were purchased by Midwest Curb Grinding. The jerseys were auctioned after the game and the proceeds benefited the Freedom Alliance.
